(gauge of gum and attachment) One of the main goals (besides total avoidment) is the early recognition of problems, related to your gum and attachment. Our dental hygienists are trained and experienced both in recognition / diagnostics as well as therapeutics, meaning removing calculus and stains painlessly and meticulously. By demand they also work with anesthesia. If serious problems (meaning a manifested periodontitis) are persisting after debridement, there is the possibility of a surgical intervention, performed by our dentists. Further surgical interventions, regarding periodontolgy and done in our office: -Gum transplantation (palatal removal, following Dr. Langer's technique) -Coverage of recessions (exposed dental roots) -widening of the attached gingiva -filling soft tissue defects within the visible areas (front teeth)
